Last week I spoke about my thoughts on how Marvel Super Heroes are molded by their dads (or lack their of). This week in church a similar them was discussed, and I feel like it is one that we should pay attention to.
Do heroes need to be aggressive? We have seen all throughout history that those that win the battles tend to be the biggest and strongest. Super heroes getting matched up against a stronger opponent always seem to find that extra bit of strength or some new skill to best their opponent. However, is that the way we want our kids to lead their lives? Or should we focus on something more, like compassion?
