Social media, school, close friends, unknown neighbors, complete strangers - these are the people we compare our lives to. Sometimes we feel like we are doing better than most of them, and other times we are way behind them. How does this affect how we parent? How does this affect our daily lives? How does it affect our feelings?
Envy is one of those words most of us choose not to discuss. We would rather not reflect on how many of the decisions we make in life are derived from the feeling of envy.
