Once you realize that 90% of all the time you will have with your kids is in the first 18 years, it really puts things into perspective.
This week I talked with Dr Leif Dahleen from Physician on Fire. We discussed his decision to FIRE, how this affected life as a dad, and if he thinks it was the right choice for his family (you can probably guess the answer). During the discussion he referenced a blog post he had read discussing how much time you get with your kids. The topics got me thinking about my OWN 90% time table and how I plan to improve on it.
