Father's Day Episode - 1.5 Weeks Late (For a Reason)
Show Notes

I hope ALL of you dads out there had an awesome Father's Day.  This day only comes around once a year, so getting to enjoy it as an absolute must.  For me, this day also fell around the date for our moving out of our house, our wedding anniversary, and our youngest's 5 year-old birthday.  Needless to say, the day was there; much was attempted early in the day to help me feel special, however by the end it was business as usual.

Now, I am in no way bitter about this.  Life is constantly moving, and our expectations adjust with it.  However, what I am bitter about is the day in general.  This goes for Mother's Day and other such holidays - hear me out here.  I absolutely feel recognizing an individual is extremely important.  HOWEVER, why do we have to choose a set day and time to do it?  And why is it after that day has passed, things go back to the way they were without any changes in our mind set?

Today's episode, I discuss these things and more.  I purposely left this episode to be 1.5 weeks out from Father's Day due to this thought process.  I hope you take and listen, and let me know what you think!
